Meeting held on possible fires in Yassıköy Municipality
An important meeting was held in Yassıköy Municipality on Thursday, 2 May 2024 to discuss how to combat fires that may occur during the summer period.
The meeting was organised by the municipality's Civil Protection Local Coordination Board under the chairmanship of Mayor Caner Imam and attended by deputy mayors, officials from the police, forestry and fire departments.
At the important meeting, the measures to be taken to prevent fires in the region, the steps to be taken in the fight against fires, support, expansion of vegetation clearing projects and activities as well as extinguishing works, improvement of the forest network, precautions and measures to be taken especially on days when the risk of fire is high, and ensuring proper communication between all relevant parties were discussed.
