Meaningful Ramadan Iftar brings community together in Selanik
The event, organized by the Selanik Muslims Education and Culture Association, took place on Sunday, March 15, at the association’s premises. Community members and guests shared the same table in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Participants were personally greeted at the entrance by Association President İnanç Mustafaoğlu and board members, setting the tone for an evening centered on hospitality, togetherness, and cultural connection.
Among the notable attendees were Serkan Gedik, Consul General of Türkiye in Selanik; Mustafa Trampa, Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of İskeçe; Zeynep Tevfikoğlu; and Bahri Belço, Vice Chairman of the Friendship Equality Peace Party.
Speaking after the event, Mustafa Trampa emphasized the importance of such gatherings in strengthening unity and solidarity. In a social media post, he noted that the iftar, hosted by the association, reflected the unifying spirit of Ramadan and expressed his appreciation for sharing the table with fellow community members.
The program concluded in a friendly setting, with attendees continuing their conversations over tea and coffee, reinforcing bonds within the community.
