Kyriakos Babasidis becomes President of OPEKEPE
Kyriakos Babasidis, a lawyer from Komotini, has been appointed interim President of the European Organisation for the Payment and Supervision of Incentive Premiums (OPEKEPE).
With the decision of the Minister of Agriculture and Food Lefteris Avgenakis, the new board members of the European Organisation for Payment and Supervision of Incentive Premiums (OPEKEPE) were appointed. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, Kyriakos Babasidis, a lawyer and former politician from Komotini, has been appointed as the temporary president of the organisation for 6 months.
Babasidis had been serving as vice-president of OPEKEPE until 24 January, when he assumed the presidency.
According to the decision of the Ministry, the new board of directors of OPEKEPE consists of the following members:
President: Kyriakos Babasidis
Vice President: Zervos Elefterios
Vice President: Yannis Kurdis
General Manager: Melitini Ikonomaki
Member: Dimitris Karatzas
Member: Aspasia Andonopoulou
Member:Yannis Glenzakis
Member: Eftimios Spiridis
Member: Androniki Anna Vasilouli
The chairman and vice chairmen will serve temporarily for a period of 6 months. The General Manager and members of the board of directors will remain in office for 3 years.
As it will be remembered, Kyriakos Babasidis was previously a ND MP candidate from the province of Rodopi.
