KÖPRÜ Association to celebrate Laylat al-Qadr with iftar dinner and mevlit
Thousands of kinsmen living in the city of Komotini and the surrounding villages will meet tomorrow evening (Friday 5 April 2024) in the Mastanlı neighbourhood of Komotini for an iftar dinner.
KÖPRÜ Association, which is located in Mastanlı Neighbourhood and brings together the cognates living in Mastanlı Neighbourhood, Kozluköy Yolu Neighbourhood and Kırmahalle under the same roof, is preparing to celebrate Laylat al-Qadr with enthusiasm this year as well.
The association management, members and especially the young people of the neighbourhoods are making preparations to host thousands of cognates in the courtyard of the mosque in Mastanlı Neighbourhood and in the streets of the neighbourhood in the most beautiful way during the iftar dinner to be held on Laylat al-Qadr Night.
Preparations continue at full speed. After breaking their fast together, the kinsmen who will attend the iftar will have the opportunity to comprehend Laylat al-Qadr Night, which is better than a thousand months, in the most beautiful way with the religious programme to be held in Mastanlı Mosque with the Ashr-i Sharif, hymns, Mevlid-i Sharif and prayers to be made.
