The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), Dimitris Koutsoumbas, is set to embark on a three-day visit to Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, where he will engage in a series of meetings and public events.

During his visit, Koutsoumbas will meet with local organizations and trade union representatives, and he is expected to deliver political speeches to the public across various locations in the region.
His official itinerary is as follows:
Friday, April 11
- 18:00 – Meeting with local associations and trade union representatives at the "Kalogeriko" Hall in Limenas, on the island of Thasos.
- 21:00 – Dinner and welcome address with the party’s Thasos branch members at the “Almirikia” center.
Saturday, April 12
- 19:00 – Political rally and speech at the “Apothiki 1” venue at the port of Alexandroupolis.
Sunday, April 13
- 11:00 – Meeting with local associations and union representatives from Eastern Macedonia and Thrace at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Xanthi.
The visit underscores Koutsoumbas’s and the KKE’s continued engagement with regional communities and their commitment to addressing local and labor issues through dialogue and political action.
