Kipi and Kastanies border crossing officers to strike again

Due to the Greek Customs officers going on strike again, there will be disruptions in the crossings at the Kipi and Kastanies border crossings.

Crossings at the Kipi and Kastanies border crossings connecting Greece to Türkiye will be restricted due to the participation of customs officers working at the Kipi and Kastanies border crossings in a strike announced by the Federation of Greek Customs Officers.

Accordingly, commercial vehicles, except refrigerated vehicles carrying fresh fish, will not be allowed to pass through the Kipi (Ipsala) customs gate for 48 hours starting from 00.00 on Tuesday 02 April.

Personal car and bus operations will be carried out for 10 minutes every hour.

Vehicles will not be allowed to enter and exit from Kastanies (Pazarkule) customs gate except in emergencies.
