ITB Women’s Branch holds breakfast gathering in İskeçe
The Women’s Branch of the İskeçe Turkish Union (ITB) organized a breakfast gathering at the Le Chalet Hotel in Xanthi, bringing together approximately 200 women from İskeçe and surrounding villages.
Among the attendees were İlayda Ünal, wife of Türkiye’s Consul General in Gümülcine Aykut Ünal; Nadire Ömer, wife of the President of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of İskeçe Mustafa Trampa; Şerife Mustafaoğlu, wife of İskeçe MP Hüseyin Zeybek; FEP Party Chairwoman Çiğdem Asafoğlu; Sevtap Hint, Head of the Women’s Branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTAYTD); Fatma Saliemin, Head of the Ova Women’s Branch of the Kırköy Association; Aylan Küçük, President of the Dinkler Hanımeli Association; as well as female members of the ITB executive and supervisory boards and numerous invited guests.
Delivering a brief speech during the program, ITB Women’s Branch President Sevgi Sezai stated that the event aimed to bring women together, strengthen social solidarity, and create a platform for the exchange of ideas.
İlayda Ünal also addressed the gathering, expressing her pleasure at being with the women of İskeçe and participating in the event.
