ITB postponed the event due to national mourning
Xanthi Turkish Union announced that the Xanthi CULTURE-ART EVENT, which was planned to take place on Friday, June 16, was postponed due to national mourning.
The ITB announced that the event will take place on Monday, June 19, at the same time and place.
In a statement released on the subject, the Xanthi Turkish Union stated that the event was postponed due to the three-day national mourning declared after at least 79 immigrants lost their lives in the disaster on Wednesday in the Peloponnese.

Due to the 3-day national mourning declared as a result of the death of at least 79 immigrants in the disaster on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 off the Peloponnese Peninsula, our "ISKEÇE CULTURE - ART FESTIVAL" event, which was planned to be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, has been postponed and will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023.
