Istanbul Western Thrace Students’ Union holds new term welcome meeting
As part of its ongoing tradition since its establishment in 2018, BATÖB organized this year’s event for students starting the 2025–2026 academic year in Istanbul.
During the meeting, the union introduced its past cultural, social, and solidarity activities to the newcomers. Members also shared details about upcoming projects, including educational support programs, cultural trips, and initiatives to strengthen the spirit of unity among students.
BATÖB representatives emphasized that their mission is to foster solidarity, preserve cultural identity, and support Western Thracian youth studying in Istanbul. The meeting concluded with friendly conversations that helped strengthen bonds and reinforce a sense of community among the students.
