Iskeçe Mufti's Office launches "Clothe an Orphan" campaign
The Iskeçe Mufti's Office has officially launched its annual "Clothe an Orphan" campaign, aimed at providing Eid clothing to orphans in the region. This initiative, which takes place around the Ramadan Bayram (Eid al-Fitr), seeks to fulfill the clothing needs of orphaned children, ensuring they are not embarrassed and that their dignity is preserved.
In previous years, the campaign has gained significant attention and support from the Muslim Turkish community in Western Thrace, who have generously contributed to bringing joy to many orphans. The Mufti's Office staff reaches out to these children, ensuring they receive the necessary clothing for the holiday in a sensitive and respectful manner.
