İskeçe Minority Middle and High School family gathers for iftar program

İskeçe Minority Middle and High School hosted its traditional iftar program on Monday, March 24. The event, organized by the School Parents’ Association, was attended by teachers, senior high school students, the school’s encümen committee, representatives of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace, and officials from the Turkish Consulate General in Komotini.
A Gathering of Unity and Solidarity
Guests were warmly welcomed by the School Parents’ Association and the Encümen Committee. The call to prayer was recited by Metin Karahoca, a religious studies teacher, and the iftar prayer was led by senior student Enes Karadayı.
Held at Köşk Restaurant in İskeçe, the event served as a platform to strengthen the sense of unity and solidarity within the Turkish minority community.

- President of the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association, Hüseyin Baltacı
The event was recognized as an important occasion that underscores the efforts to preserve the cultural and religious traditions of the Turkish minority in Western Thrace.
