İskeçe launches full operation of the new controlled parking system

The Municipality of İskeçe has officially implemented its new Controlled Parking System in the city center as of October 29, 2025. The initiative aims to create a more organized, fair, and user-friendly parking experience for all. As İskeçe continues to develop into a more functional and modern city, this step introduces a fully digital system designed to improve citizen convenience and ensure smooth traffic flow in the historic and commercial center.
The new system features three parking zones:

Zone A: City center area, €1.50 per hour, with a two-hour parking limit.

Zone B: Public market area, €0.60 per hour, with no time limit.

Zone C: Municipal Market area, €0.40 per hour, with a one-hour limit.

All zones include 30 minutes of free parking to accommodate quick errands and urgent needs.
Drivers can pay for their parking time in one of three ways:

Through the ParkALot mobile app (available on Android and iPhone),

By scanning the QR code displayed on parking signs and paying by card, or

By purchasing parking time from designated retail partners across the city.

Operating hours of the Controlled Parking System are as follows:

Permanent residents within the system’s boundaries can apply online for a Resident Parking Card by submitting the necessary documentation. People with disabilities (PWD) can park free of charge in all designated spaces, provided they display a valid PWD Parking Permit visibly in their vehicle. Businesses operating within the controlled zone can also apply for an Electronic Supplier Card to use loading and unloading areas.
Parking time can be purchased at collaborating businesses, kiosks, and shops within the designated areas.
