İrfan Hacıgene again a candidate for the Region Assembly

Hacıgene, who is an experienced politician, is the only one of the 3 elected members of the Turkish Minority from Xanthi to be nominated again.

İrfan Hacıgene made the following statements to Millet Newspaper about his decision to continue with the Regional Synthesis list and about his candidacy:

"I have worked in local administrations for many years. I have been a council member of Xanthi Province, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and a manager in different units. I have not avoided any duty for the development of our region and the welfare of our nation. In the last period, I was elected as a member of the provincial assembly and I am currently serving as the vice-president of the province. In the assembly meetings I chaired, all provincial assembly members expressed their appreciation. In addition, I raised the most questions in the Region Assembly and presented alternative options for solving problems.

Everyone knows that I am closely interested in all the problems in our region. For example, I have applied to the relevant ministry and the prime ministry for the continuation of the services of the state hospital and health centres. I personally brought the hospital management together and discussed how we should follow a path to provide services for our people and our region.

All our people know how much effort I made to solve the problem of ambulance drivers at the Şahin Village Health Centre. We also have many efforts to make motorways safe with barriers and to develop alternative products.

Despite all obstacles, I worked with all my strength for the establishment of a fire brigade unit in the Balkan branch, and although the project I submitted on the subject was approved by the ministry, its implementation was prevented by the local administration. if we come to power, we will ensure that this issue is resolved as soon as possible.

I have been intertwined with our nation for years, listening closely to the problems of our nation and trying to produce solutions. I am once again in demand for the votes of our nation. The discretion of our people is always above our heads. If they elect us to the state assembly again, no one should have any doubt that we will do more than we have done so far. I wish success to all my fellow candidates.

I believe that it is time for us to come to power in the province of East Macedonia-Thrace. I wish the elections to be beneficial for our country and our region. Let's build the future together!"
