Iftar gathering in Paşevik Village
The Xanthi Mufti Office continued its series of iftar programs on March 21, Friday evening, with a grand gathering in Paşevik Village, located in the Mustafçova Municipality.
After the iftar, a special "Ramazan Sokağı" (Ramadan Street) event was organized by the Young Mufti Office, bringing the community together for an evening of culture and entertainment.
Distinguished Guests
The iftar was attended by:
- Mustafa Trampa, Head of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Xanthi,
- Various religious officials,
- Officials from Sultangazi Municipality, Istanbul,
- Deputy Consul Adnan Öztürk, representing the Turkish Consulate in Komotini,
- Members of Parliament from Xanthi,
- Leaders of various institutions and organizations.
Müftü Trampa’s Speech
In his speech, Mufti Mustafa Trampa emphasized:
“Ramadan is a blessed month that brings us together, strengthens our unity, and reinforces our brotherhood. I sincerely thank the village’s Board of Trustees and the youth of Paşevik for organizing this wonderful gathering. My gratitude also goes to all participants who contributed to this beautiful atmosphere.”
"Ramazan Sokağı" Event
Following the Isha and Tarawih prayers, the Young Mufti Office hosted a vibrant Ramazan Sokağı event at Paşevik’s sports field. The event featured:
- Traditional cultural performances,
- Fun and educational activities for children,
- Strong participation from both children and adults.
Mufti Mustafa Trampa addressed the children, offering words of wisdom and praising the Young Mufti Office for organizing such an engaging event.
The evening was marked by joy, unity, and cultural celebration, leaving a lasting impression on the Paşevik community.
