İdadiye Primary School Parents' Association hosts iftar event
The Parents' Association of Gümülcine İdadiye Minority Primary School organized an iftar event on Sunday, March 9.
Held at a local event hall in Gümülcine, the iftar gathering saw a high turnout from students, parents, and teachers.
Prior to the iftar, children delighted the audience with various surprises, followed by a shadow play performance by artist Oğuzhan Dağlar, who brought joy to the attendees with his Karagöz-Hacivat shadow puppetry, puppet show, and entertaining acts.
In a statement, the Parents' Association expressed gratitude:
"We sincerely thank the Deputy Consuls of the Turkish Consulate General in Gümülcine, our school principal, teachers, parents, and most importantly, our children, who brought joy and energy to the iftar event."
Among the distinguished guests were Deputy Consuls Adnan Öztürk and Ali Tosun from the Turkish Consulate General in Gümülcine, as well as İdadiye Minority School Principal Serdar Mehmet.
