Hüseyin Zeybek: 'We demand justice for the Palestinian people'
Xanthi SYRIZA MP Hüseyin Zeybek, regarding the Israeli attacks, said: "The time has come and gone for all humanity to take action to put an end to this massacre and to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East. We want justice for the Palestinian people, we want peace and most importantly we want a secure Palestinian state."
Deputy Zeybek stated the following in his statement: "Is it enough just to condemn Israel? Yesterday a hospital in Gaza was targeted and innocent civilians were killed again. This is unacceptable. For days there has been no water, no electricity, no humanitarian aid, unfortunately no human rights for the Palestinian people. There are only bombs and children and women dying as a result. Where is the modern world? Where is the UN? Where is Europe? We now know on whose side the United States stands. The time has come and gone for all humanity to take action to put an end to this massacre and to establish lasting peace in the Middle East. We want justice for the Palestinian people, we want peace and most importantly we want a secure Palestinian state. There is no need to be a Muslim to stand up for Palestine, it is enough to be a human being. Stop the massacre."
