High-level military visits between Türkiye, Greece to continue in Eskişehir
As part of Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) between Turkey and Greece, the Greek Tactical Air Force Commander and their delegation are scheduled to visit the Combat Air Force Command in Eskişehir on December 2-3.
During the Turkish Ministry of National Defense’s weekly briefing, Spokesperson Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk provided updates on recent developments, highlighting the ongoing CBM initiatives for 2024.
Rear Admiral Aktürk stated, “Between November 26-28, a delegation from the Turkish Air Force Command is visiting the Greek Air Force Command. Joint volleyball matches are being held between the two countries’ military academies, and a delegation from the Greek Naval Forces is visiting our Naval Forces Command. Additionally, the Greek Tactical Air Force Commander, along with their delegation, will visit our Combat Air Force Command in Eskişehir as part of the same plan.”
The meetings aim to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between the two nations, reflecting continued efforts toward regional stability and collaboration.
