The Mufti of Komotini organized a religious program in Kırmahalle Mosque for those who lost their lives in the earthquakes that took place in the motherland Türkiye.

The religious program organized by the mufti to donate the souls of those who lost their lives in the "disaster of the century" started after the night prayer.

First, the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, preached to the congregation in the mosque about the Night of Miraj. In his sermon, the mufti gave information about the events of Isra and Miraj, where our Prophet lived, and the good news given to Muslims as a result.

Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini, Aykut Ünal, who attended the meaningful night after the sermon and did not leave his kinsmen alone, took the floor and greeted them. In his speech, Consul General Ünal congratulated the Night in the mosque. Stating that he was honored to be with them, Consul General Unal thanked the kinsmen who gave great support to the aid campaigns organized in Western Thrace for the survivors of the two major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6.

On the occasion of the Night being in the program organized for earthquake victims, relatives showed great interest. In the night attended by hundreds of men and women, both inside and outside the mosque, religious officials from the Chosen Mufti of Komotini recited and sang Asr-ı Şerif, Mevlid-i Şerif, and hymns.

At the end of the program, the prayers of the religious brothers who lost their lives in the earthquakes and the prayer of the Mevlid-i Sharif, recited by the Turks of Western Thrace, were made by the Deputy Mufti Fehim Ahmet.

The program ended with the executives and kinsmen attending the night, greeting each other and celebrating the Miraç Kandil.
