Hakan Aysev concert attracts great interest in Komotini
The Hakan Aysev concert, organised by TOÇEK Theatre Group, was held on Friday, 19 April at the old REX Cinema Hall in Komotini.
Aysev gave enthusiastic moments to the West Thracians. Hakan Aysev started the concert with "Wounded Heart", which Zeki Müren wrote Turkish lyrics to the Pulp Fiction film music, and then continued with a song of Belkıs Özener from Yeşilçam films. Afterwards, he interpreted works such as "In the Middle of the Monastery" and "Bridges I Built to Come and Pass" with his magnificent voice and made the hall full of people enthusiastic.
Hakan Aysev started his concert and expressed his happiness for being in Komotini.
The concert lasted for about two hours and was attended by many art lovers, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Komotini Aykut Ünal and his wife İlayda Ünal, consulate staff, FEP Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu, Yassıköy Mayor Caner İmam, President of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association Hüseyin Baltacı, President of Komotini Turkish Youth Union Sedat Hasan, President of Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union Aydın Ahmet, President of Western Thrace Minority Education and Culture Company Hüseyin Bostancı, Spokesperson of Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform Sibel Abdullah Hasan, former MPs Galip Galip and Mustafa Mustafa and representatives of institutions and organisations attended.
