Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union prepares for General Assembly
The Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) has officially announced plans to hold its ordinary general assembly meeting later this month.
According to a statement signed by GTGB President Sedat Hasan, the decision was taken during a board meeting held on May 6, 2026.
The first session of the general assembly is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Second Meeting Scheduled if Quorum Is Not Reached
The organization stated that if the required quorum is not achieved during the initial session, the general assembly will reconvene on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the same time.
The Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union remains one of the longstanding civil society organizations representing the Turkish minority community in Gümülcine and the wider Western Thrace region.
General assemblies traditionally serve as important gatherings where organizational activities, future projects, and administrative matters are discussed among members.
