GTGB participates in the International Yoruk Turkmen Festival
Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) participated in the International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival organised for the second time this year by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality in Türkiye.
Between 3 - 5 November, a delegation consisting of the instructors of the sewing and embroidery courses operating under the umbrella of GTGB participated in the festival held in Antalya Aksu Horse Meadow. The GTGB delegation exhibited traditional handicrafts and artefacts that are about to be forgotten in the cultural and local history of Western Thrace.
Cultural elements, music and dance groups, handicrafts and dishes from all corners of the Turkic world took part in the festival.
GTGB issued a statement on the subject and thanked Hamza Yavuz, President of the International Balkan Cooperative, for their invitation to the festival.
