GTGB New Generation Branch orgines a tripe to Edirne
The members of the New Generation Branch of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union (GTGB) participated in a day trip to Edirne. On 29 June Saturday, the young people were accompanied by the President of GTGB Sedat Hasan and the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal and his wife İlayda Ünal.
During the trip, historical and cultural places and regions of Edirne were visited. The trip started with a visit to Lausanne Peace Monument in Karaağaç region, historical railway station and Trakya University Faculty of Fine Arts. During the visit to Hıdırlık Bastions, the Balkan Wars Museum was visited and information was received. Young people were informed about the treatment methods of patients in the 2nd Bayezid Complex built in the Ottoman period.
The trip ended with a visit to Ulu Mosque and Selimiye Mosque, the masterpiece of Mimar Sinan.
Upon invitation, Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal and his wife İlayda Ünal also attended the trip.
