German Consul General Monica Frank visits Mustafçova Municipality
On Friday, April 12, 2025, the German Consul General in Thessaloniki, Monica Frank, accompanied by Consul General Deputy Mark Strohmenger and representatives from the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce, paid a visit to Mustafçova Municipality. The visit took place in the mayor’s office, where discussions focused on future collaboration opportunities.
The delegation also visited the Dolapan Mosque in Mustafçova, one of the largest mosques in the region, where they were briefed on the mosque’s history and significance.
Mayor Ahmet Kurt shared his thoughts on the visit via social media, expressing his gratitude for the visit and outlining the discussions that took place. He emphasized that all diplomatic and business engagements are made in the best interest of the local community.
Kurt further elaborated on the municipality’s future projects, especially regarding infrastructure development and economic growth in the region, highlighting the potential of the local thermal waters. The mayor noted the importance of such international relations for the region’s prosperity.
Hüseyin Selim Kahya, a prominent businessman from Western Thrace and owner of ATTİKİ GmbH, also contributed to facilitating the visit and the ongoing discussions for future joint projects between the municipality and German entities.
