GAT’s cultural trip to Istanbul

GAT member youth from Western Thrace, who studied in Athens, toured Istanbul.
With the contributions of the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association, The Athens Branch of the Young Academics Community organized a culture trip to Istanbul on April 21-25.
The statement about the trip issued by GAT is as follows:
“It has been a great opportunity to re-learn and preserve our history, expand our culture and increase our commitment to the community.
We stayed in the city of Istanbul, the heart of history in Turkey, for 4 days and visited the mosques, museums, Bosphorus and places with magnificent views of the city of Istanbul, which has an incredible history.
We would like to express our gratitude to the President of the International Balkans Association, Mr. Salih Demir, who welcomed us in Istanbul with a good hospitality and helped with the guidance.
The visit to the motherland was beautiful as always. It is our greatest wish to organize many more trips in the future.”
