GAT members meet with the Ambassador and Consul General in Athens
GAT Athens members met at the iftar table with the Turkish Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes and Consul General of Athens-Piraeus Mustafa Somuncu.
The members of the Athens Branch of the Young Academics Community (GAT), which operates under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, attended the iftar dinner hosted by the Consulate General of Türkiye in Athens - Piraeus on 1 April Monday evening. Turkish Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes also attended the iftar dinner.
In the post made on the social media account of the Athens Branch of GAT, it was stated: "This evening we attended the iftar dinner organised by the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Athens - Piraeus. We would like to thank Mr Consul General Mustafa Somuncu for his kind invitation. We would also like to express our gratitude to Ambassador Çağatay Erciyes for his time and pleasant conversation."
