Former secretary of Teachers Union Hüseyin Mahmutoğlu passes away

The following statements were made in the statement made by the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers Union (BTTOB) regarding the resume of Hüseyin Mümin Mahmutoğlu, who served as a secretary in the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union for 24 years. After the state free boarding exams, he went to Kütahya High School. Mahmutoğlu attended the Edirne Primary Teachers School graduation exams and received a teaching diploma in 1962. He was appointed to the Kalfa Turkish Primary School in Komotini in the 1962/63 academic year. In the middle of the 1963/64 academic year, it was stopped by the authorities for unknown reasons. He was appointed to his own village, Çepelli, in the 1964/65 academic year. He served Turkish culture until the end of the 1975 academic year.
During the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation, he was disciplined as a result of the arguments he had with his Greek colleague, and after a series of lawsuits, he was dismissed by the decision of the Athens High Court.
Mahmutoğlu served as the Secretary of the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union from 1982 to 2006. Hüseyin Mahmutoğlu, who has a passion for reading books, wrote articles, stories, and poems and published them in magazines and newspapers. He was married and had two children.
