Former MP Ahmet Faikoğlu passes away
According to the information obtained by MİLLET newspaper, Ahmet Faikoğlu, former Independent MP for Xanthi, passed away today (28 December Thursday) at noon at Alexandroupolis Medical Faculty Hospital where he was being treated.
77-year-old former independent MP Ahmet Faikoğlu was known to be ill for a long time. Faikoğlu, whose condition worsened over the last week, passed away at the Alexandroupoli Medical Faculty Hospital where he was hospitalised.
According to the information provided by Şaban Bandak, the son-in-law of Ahmet Faikoğlu, his funeral will be held tomorrow (Friday, 29 December) following the afternoon prayer from his house in Pırnarlık neighbourhood of Xanthi.
After the funeral prayer to be performed after the afternoon prayer, he will be buried in Pırnarlık Neighbourhood Cemetery on the Xanthi-Kavala road.
