Forest fire in Mustafçova Municipality brought under control

A forest fire that broke out in the Mustafçova Municipality of the Xanthi region has been brought under control, preventing it from threatening residential areas.
Firefighting teams responded swiftly with 30 fire engines, one helicopter, and five firefighting planes. Cooling operations are ongoing to ensure the fire is completely extinguished.
Mustafçova Mayor Ahmet Kurt praised the cooperation of the residents of Ilıca and Orta Mahalle in preventing the fire from spreading further. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in controlling the fire, saying, "I extend my deepest thanks to all who contributed, especially the residents of Ilıca. May God protect us from all kinds of fires and disasters."
