“First step to marriage” seminar program continues
The second session of the “First Step to Marriage Education Program,” organized by the İskeçe Mufti’s Office, has been held.
The seminar, conducted via Zoom, featured educator, author, and family counselor Elif Yüceer as the guest speaker. The program is aimed at engaged women and those in the first five years of marriage, with a particular focus on the importance of communication within the family.
During the seminar, participants were encouraged to recognize their own communication styles. Through practical examples, the session addressed healthy ways of expressing emotions and thoughts, strengthening mutual understanding, and building strong bonds within the family.
In the interactive session, participants had the opportunity to reflect on their communication approaches by discussing questions such as, “Do we really listen? Do we understand? Are we able to express our feelings accurately?”
Program officials stated that the goal is for the knowledge and skills gained through the seminars to be applied in daily life, thereby contributing positively to family relationships.
