Fire breaks out near Hacıören village
A fire broke out near Haciören village of Kozlukebir Municipality. A fire broke out in the early hours of today in the Çal area where windmills are located on the mountain opposite the village of Haciören. The residents of Haciören and the people of the region, who noticed the fire of unknown origin, went to the area in a short time and started to intervene with their own means.
However, Komotini Fire Brigade Directorate, which was informed about the fire, sent vehicles to the scene. Both fire brigade vehicles and two fire extinguishing helicopters arrived in the region. The interventions made by the people of the region, firefighters and helicopter from the air prevented the fire from growing and spreading to a large area. The fire that frightened the people of Haciören was extinguished as a result of the interventions.
