Fines over €3,500 issued by fire department in Rhodope and İskeçe
Three individuals were fined for violations of fire prevention legislation in the regions of Rhodope and İskeçe on September 9 and 10, 2025.
Specifically:
On September 9, 2025, investigative officers of the Fire Department of Rhodope imposed an administrative fine of €1,312.50 on a local resident for using a grilling device on a plot of land, in violation of fire prevention laws, in the municipality of Gümülcine, Rhodope.
On September 10, 2025, investigative officers of the Fire Service at the Industrial Area of Gümülcine imposed an administrative fine of €1,500 on a local woman for burning dry grass within a plot of land, in violation of fire prevention legislation, also in the municipality of Gümülcine, Rhodope.
On the same day, September 10, 2025, investigative officers of the İskeçe Fire Department imposed an administrative fine of €750 on a local resident for depositing flammable materials within a forested area, in violation of fire prevention laws, in the municipality of Bulustra, İskeçe.
In total, the fines amounted to €3,562.50.
