Final of Basic Religious Knowledge Competition held in Komotini

COMPETITION AND FINAL RESULTS
The "Basic Religious Knowledge Competition" for the 2024-2025 academic year, organized by the Komotini Mufti's Office, has come to an end. The preliminary rounds took place on April 12, 2025, with finalists from 8 regions identified. The final competition was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Büyük Sirkeli Village Mosque, where the Quran schools representing the 8 regions fiercely competed. The results of the final were as follows:

Third Region: Kozlukebir Mescit Quran School – Elif İSMAİL

Second Region: Baraklı Quran School – Eslin SAİT HALİL

Komotini Central Region: Tuzçuköy Quran School – M. Zahid BÜLBÜL

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND FINAL REMARKS
The Komotini Mufti's Office congratulated all the students who participated, as well as the finalists who successfully represented their regions and schools. Special recognition was given to the first, second, and third-place students, their teachers, and the parents who supported them with great dedication.

In his address, Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif congratulated the participants, teachers, parents, and attendees. He emphasized the importance of Quran schools and encouraged families to assist their children with religious education. He expressed his hopes for a bright and successful future for the children.

The competition, which was also attended by Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin, concluded with heartfelt congratulations to the teachers, students, and parents. Mayor Hüseyin thanked the Mufti's Office for organizing the event in Büyük Sirkeli Village.

The event wrapped up with an award ceremony, with Mufti Assistant Fehim Ahmet presenting the prizes.
