FEP Party stands with farmers in Rhodope protests
The Friendship, Equality, Peace (FEP) Party has expressed its support for farmers in the Rhodope region by joining the ongoing protest actions.
FEP Party Chairwoman Çiğdem Asafoğlu and party officials visited the roadblock site in Komotini to listen directly to the concerns of local farmers.
In a statement released after the visit, the party underlined the legitimacy of the nationwide demonstrations and said:
“We stand with all our farmers across the country who have launched rightful protests. Our farmers are the backbone of our economy; their suffering is unacceptable. We support this just struggle and expect their demands to be addressed.”
The statement also highlighted the economic hardships faced by farmers and called on the government to urgently provide solutions.
