Farewell dinner in honor of Consul General Ömeroğlu

The Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board (BTTADK) organised a farewell dinner in honor of Murat Ömeroğlu, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye to Komotini, who completed his term in Western Thrace.
Consul General Murat Ömeroğlu, members of the Advisory Board and some guests attended the farewell dinner in Thamna village.
After the dinner, on behalf of the Turkish Muslim Minority of Western Thrace, the President of the Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif thanked Consul Murat Ömeroğlu for his work and wished him success in his future professional an personal life.
After Mufti İbrahim Şerif, Consul General Murat Ömeroğlu took the floor. In his speech, Ömeroğlu thanked the members of the Advisory Board for the farewell dinner organized for him. He expressed that he is very happy and honored to serve the Turkish Minority by serving in Western Thrace. Consul General Ömeroğlu, in his farewell speech, gave a message of unity and solidarity to the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace.
After the speeches, the President of BTTADK and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif presented a plaque to Consul General Murat Ömeroğlu.
The farewell dinner ended with coffee and conversations.
