Family Relations Seminar held in Seymen village highlights community engagement

The fourth session of a community-focused Family Relations Seminar was held in Seymen Village on April 29, 2026, organized by the Gümülcine Mufti’s Office as part of its ongoing social outreach initiatives.

The seminar, coordinated by the Women’s Guidance Team under the Adult Women’s Division, brought together local participants to discuss family dynamics, values, and social responsibility in a supportive and educational setting.

Focus on Family Values and Child Development
The session was led by preacher and Qur’an course instructor Nafiye Karaali, who emphasized the importance of parental responsibility and moral upbringing.

Drawing on Islamic teachings, Karaali highlighted that caring for and educating one’s child holds profound value, noting that such efforts are considered more rewarding than many other charitable acts.

Community Participation and Social Cohesion
The seminar saw strong participation from adult female students attending local Qur’an courses, along with women from the village community. The gathering fostered dialogue on strengthening family ties and promoting mutual understanding within households.

As part of the program, three attendees received books as gifts, encouraging continued learning and engagement.
