Erdem Hüseyin, the new mayor of Kozlukebir Municipality after winning the 2nd round of elections held today, spoke in the square of Sirkeli, the central village of the municipality.
Erdem Hüseyin, who greeted the crowd waiting for him in the square, was taken on his shoulders by his loved ones.
In his speech, he thanked his team mates who ran for the elections as councillor and muhtar candidates from the Unity List and the people of Kozlukebir Municipality who helped them win the elections with their support and votes.
Erdem Hüseyin also thanked the people of Büyük Sirkeli village, where he was born and raised, and said: "After a break of about 13 years, Sirkeli has produced a mayor again".
The new mayor Erdem Hüseyin and his team celebrated the victory with drums and zurnas together with the supporters.
