According to a statement from the EMT Regional Administration, the event—organized on 15 December 2025—included meetings with tourism agencies, travel offices, tourism media representatives, and airline company officials. The primary aim was to showcase the region’s tourism potential to the Austrian market and to explore possible areas of cooperation.
The event was held with the support of the Embassy of Greece in Vienna. Following the meetings, Panayotis Arhontis, Deputy Regional Governor responsible for Tourism, emphasized the strategic importance of the Austrian market for the region.
It was also noted that the Vienna event marked the final stage of the international promotional efforts that were launched in 2024 and continued throughout 2025, bringing the EMT Region’s overseas promotion campaign to a close.
