Eastern Macedonia and Thrace expands cooperation with Hellenic Olympic Committee

The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace has strengthened its cooperation with the Hellenic Olympic Committee through the "Olympic Regions" initiative, aimed at promoting Olympic values, sports participation and educational activities across the region.

Regional authorities said the partnership will support initiatives designed to encourage youth engagement in sports while promoting healthy lifestyles, inclusion and the Olympic spirit.

The cooperation will include educational programs, sporting events and joint activities involving schools, local communities and sports organizations throughout the region.

Officials described the initiative as an opportunity to enhance sports culture while strengthening collaboration between local authorities and Greece's Olympic movement.
