Eastern Macedonia and Thrace at the center of international business interest
An important and meaningful visit began today in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace with the arrival of a delegation of 24 Economic and Commercial Attachés, members of the ECDC Club, in collaboration with Enterprise Greece.
The Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christodoulos Topsidis, welcomed the representatives from foreign missions—coming from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa—during an official event held at the Prefecture of Alexandroupoli. He stated:
"Your presence here is an acknowledgment of the strategic importance of our Region on geopolitical, energy, and business levels. Our area is one of creativity and outward-looking development."
As part of the visit, the delegates will, over the coming days, tour exemplary businesses throughout the Region known for their export activity and innovation in the fields of manufacturing, agri-food, high technology, and logistics.
The Regional Councilor responsible for International Relations and Extroversion, Mr. Charalampos Dalkitzis, noted:
"This is the right moment to invest in our region, to believe in its potential, and to support it so that it can become an international model of sustainable development."
