Dimitris Galamatis officially appointed as Secretary General of Decentralized Administration of Macedonia–Thrace

In a social media post following the swearing-in ceremony, Galamatis expressed gratitude for the renewed trust placed in him by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, describing the appointment as both an honor and a great responsibility.

"I begin this new journey with a positive mindset and enthusiasm, firmly believing that, together with the staff of the Decentralized Administration — who have long served this vital state institution in the north of our homeland — we will succeed here as well. You will see!" Galamatis stated.

He also thanked Pavlos Marinakis, with whom he had closely collaborated during his time at the General Secretariat for Communication and Information, as well as Theodoros Livanios, for the warm welcome into the new role.

Galamatis concluded his post by expressing deep appreciation for his previous colleagues and collaborators, highlighting the strong sense of teamwork and commitment they shared over the past three and a half years.
