Deputy Consuls pay farewell visit to the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union
Deputy Consuls at the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komotini Barış Çulha and Subutay Koç paid a farewell visit to the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union (BTTÖB) on Thursday 29 August (today) due to the end of their term of office.
Vice Consuls Çulha and Koç were welcomed at the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers' Union by the president of the association Aydın Ahmet and the executives of the association.
After the visit, BTTÖB's social media account shared the following statement: ‘On Thursday, 29 August 2024, Deputy Consuls Sabutay Koç and Barış Çulha, whose term of office at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey ended, paid a farewell visit to the Western Thrace Turkish Teachers’ Union. The Vice Consuls, who were welcomed and hosted by President Aydın Ahmet and the members of the Board of Directors, were presented with a handicraft painting by President Aydın Ahmet in memory of the day. We would like to thank them for their kind farewell visit and wish them success in their new duties.’
