Decomposed body of man found in his home in Kalkanca

A man's body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition in his home in Kalkanca, a settlement within the Municipality of Komotini. The discovery was made in the evening hours by a local resident.
The deceased, believed to be middle-aged, has not yet been formally identified. Initial assessments by authorities suggest that the man died approximately three days prior to being found.
The discovery caused significant commotion in the neighborhood on Thursday evening. Multiple police officers, including Rodopi Police Chief P. Ziogas, were dispatched to the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate no signs of foul play or criminal involvement. However, an official investigation remains ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
