Consul General Ünal visits the İskeçe Ova Region
During his visit, Consul General Ünal first stopped at the village of Zeynelli, where he participated in Friday prayers. He was joined by key figures, including İskeçe Mufti Mustafa Trampa, İskeçe Members of Parliament Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, President of the İskeçe Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu, FEP Party Deputy Chairman Bahri Belço, Cinar Association President Cengiz Ömer, President of the İskeçe Ova Cultural Solidarity Brotherhood Association Ömer Muzafferoğlu, members of the İnhanlı Municipal Council, and other local leaders.
Following the Friday prayers in Zeynelli, a meal was offered to the guests. The delegation then moved to the village of Göynüklü, where they had the opportunity to converse with compatriots at the village café.
The visit concluded in the village of Gencerli, where the Consul General and his companions wrapped up their tour of the region.
In a post on social media, the Turkish Consulate General in Gümülcine expressed gratitude, stating, “We were guests of our compatriots in the villages of Zeynelli, Göynüklü, and Gencerli in İskeçe. We thank them for all their efforts and hospitality.”
