Consul General Ünal visits Gümülcine İdadiye Minority Primary School
Aykut Ünal, the Consul General of Türkiye in Gümülcine, visited the Gümülcine İdadiye Minority Primary School as part of his visits to minority schools. On Tuesday, January 28, Ünal, accompanied by his wife İlayda Ünal, was welcomed by the school’s principal, Mehmet Serdar, and deputy principal, Thodoros Pitacis.
During the visit, Consul General Ünal met with the school management, teachers, students, parents, the Council of Elders, and the Parent-Teacher Association. He wished everyone a successful start to the new semester.
In a social media post by Türkiye’s Gümülcine Consulate, it was stated, "We visited Gümülcine İdadiye Minority Primary School. We wish the school administration, teachers, students, parents, the Council of Elders, and the Parent-Teacher Association success in the new semester."

The Parent-Teacher Association of Gümülcine İdadiye Minority Primary School expressed their gratitude to Consul General Aykut Ünal and his wife İlayda Ünal for their visit.
In their written statement on social media, the association said, "During their meaningful visit to our school, we had the honor of hosting H.E. Aykut Ünal, Consul General of Turkey in Gümülcine, and his esteemed wife İlayda Ünal, along with members of the Parent-Teacher Association and the Council of Elders.
