Consul General Ünal pays visit to Şapçı-Maronya Municipality
Consul General Aykut Ünal was welcomed at the town hall by the mayor Apostolos Ioannou and Turkish deputy mayors and council members.
The Deputy Mayor for Economic - Commercial Activity, Social Policy and Sports Okan Haliloglu, Deputy Mayor for Technical Works and Equipment Mustafa Şakir Hüseyin, Deputy Mayor for Water, Sewerage, Sanitation and Civil Protection Ali Topal and Councillor for Local Economic Development Ali Hamit were present during the meeting between Consul General Ünal and Mayor Ioannou.
During the meeting, Consul General Aykut Ünal wished Mayor Ioannou and his team success in their new duties.
A statement was made on the Consulate General's social media account about the visit. "We paid a courtesy visit to Apostolos Ioannou, the Mayor of Maronia-Shapchi. We wish the Mayor and his team success in their new duties," the statement said.
