Consul General Ünal meets with his kinsmen in the village of Çepelli
Consul General Ünal, who has been visiting Turkish villages since the first week he started his duty in Western Thrace, performs Friday prayers with his kinsmen in different villages in Meriç, Rhodope, and Xanthi, chats with them and relieves their sadness.
Consul General Ünal paid a visit to Çepelli village of Yassıköy Municipality this week.
Consul General Ünal met with the kinsmen from Çepelli, chatted with them, and prayed. At the end of the prayer, a souvenir photo was taken with the Congregational Consul General in the mosque.
Consul General Ünal, who is longing for the people of Çepelli, was accompanied by the Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, the SYRIZA Party Rodopi Deputy Candidate Özgür Ferhat, the Member of Çepelli Mehmet Özcan and the Çepelli Board of Trustees Chairman Burak Adil.
