Consul General Ünal attends the Mevlid Kandil programme in Xanthi
Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Unal attended the programme at Asagımahalle Çınar Mosque in Xanthi on the occasion of Mevlid Kandil. Consul General Ünal was welcomed by the cognates at the entrance of the mosque. Consul General Ünal, who attended the mevlis programme organised on the occasion of Mawlid Kandil, chatted for a while with the cognates in Çınar Mosque together with Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and other minority representatives after the Isha prayers.
Consul General Ünal then went to the Turkish Union of Xanthi. Accompanied by Vice Consul Subutay Koç, Consul General Aykut Ünal was welcomed here by the President of the Xanthi Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu and other minority representatives.
In the post made on the social media account of the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini, photos from Xanthi Çınar Mosque and Xanthi Turkish Union were included and the following statements were used: "We participated in the programme organised in Xanthi on the occasion of Mevlid Kandili and we were the guests of our compatriots."
