Co-operative warns producers about tobacco buying and selling
The statement made by Thrace Tobacco Manufacturers Cooperative is as follows:
"Dear members;
The amount of tobacco sold from the day tobacco trading started until today is 963,778.23 kg.
Accordingly, the kg purchased by each trader and the overall average are as follows:
SIZE: 34.7172.87 kg
AVERAGE: 4.22 euro
MISSIRIAN 30.3466.00 kg
AVERAGE: 4.54 euro
SOCOTAB 233,492.36 kg
AVERAGE: 4.27 euro
GLAUDIS: 58.214 kg
AVERAGE: 4.35 euro
NAKSIADIS: 21.433 kg
AVERAGE: 4.26 euro
Dear members, we ask you to be careful with the tobacco you will deliver from now on and not to deliver all of the tobacco. It will be in the interest of all of us to act together in order to get a good price."
