Christodoulos Topsidis addresses his supporters in Rhodope province

Christodoulos Topsidis, Presidential Candidate for Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and President of the Regional Synthesis (Περιφερειακή Σύνθεση) List, met with his supporters from Rhodope.

Christodoulos Topsidis continues to meet with his supporters just days before the local elections.

In the meetings he organises, he both explains the programme they have prepared for the region as Regional Synthesis to the citizens and introduces the candidates from the provinces of the province in the meetings.

Main opposition leader Topsidis organised a meeting in Komotini yesterday evening. He addressed his Rhodopean supporters at the meeting organised in the garden of the Komotine Club (Leshi Komotineos).

Topsidis accused the current administration of being insufficient in the recent fires in the region. He also emphasised that the necessary investments for the development of the region have not been made and that there is insufficiency in tourism.

Stating that the region has not benefited well from the EU programmes, Topsidis stressed that the Regional Synthesis team, with the support of the people with strong candidates, will be the new government of the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Province after the elections on 8 October and will provide much better services to the region.

After the state presidential candidate Topsidis finished his speech, the candidates for the state assembly from the Rhodope province, who are in the Regional Synthesis List, were invited to the stage one by one by reading their names and giving their short biographies.

The meeting ended with Christodoulos Topsidis and the candidates from Rhodope province posing together on the stage in a victory pose.
