Cem Salihoğlu, candidate from Mihoglou's list

Cem Salihoğlu, the most voted councillor of the main opposition list of the Municipality of Inhanli (Topiros) and Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, announced that he will be a candidate from the list of Mayor Thomas Mihoglou in the local elections to be held in October.

Cem Salihoğlu, who made a statement to Millet Newspaper about his candidacy, stated that he is always on the side of his constituents and supports all projects that contribute to the region, especially the minority villages. Drawing attention to the importance of the drinking water project, which covers all minority villages, Salihoğlu said, "This 5 million Euro project is very important for the quality of life standards of our region. I have always supported and will continue to support this and similar projects. In this framework, we have a harmonious work with our Mayor Thomas Mihoglou. We have decided to work together in the elections in order to further develop this harmony in the coming period and to serve the people of the region more. For this reason, I declare my candidacy from Mr Mihoglou's list in the coming period."

Mayor Thomas Mihoglou also made a statement on his social media account regarding Cem Salihoğlu's candidacy: "Cem Salihoğlu is a young brother, he has always been closely interested in the problems of our region during his term as a council member. We welcome him to our team and wish him great success in the elections."
